CMC cellulose ether produced by Shandong chuangyao Biotechnology Co., Ltd. has the functions of thickening, film-forming, adhesion, water retention, colloid protection, emulsification and suspension. It is widely used in oil, food, medicine, textile and papermaking industries, and is one of the most important cellulose ethers.

Reaction principle

The main chemical reactions of chuangyao CMC are the alkalization of cellulose and alkali to alkali cellulose and the etherification of alkali cellulose and monochloroacetic acid.

Chemical property

The cellulose derivative of carboxymethyl substituent was treated with sodium hydroxide to form alkali cellulose, and then reacted with monochloroacetic acid. The glucose unit of cellulose has three replaceable hydroxyl groups, so products with different degree of displacement can be obtained. On average, 1 mmol carboxymethyl per 1g of dry weight is insoluble in water and dilute acid, but it can be used for ion exchange chromatography. Carboxymethyl PKA is about 4 in pure water and 3.5 in 0.5mol/l NaCl. It is a weak acid cation exchanger, usually used for the separation of neutral and basic proteins above pH4. More than 40% hydroxyl groups can be dissolved in water to form stable high viscosity colloidal solution.

Main uses

Chuangyao brand carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) is a nontoxic and tasteless white flocculent powder, which has stable performance and is easily soluble in water. Its aqueous solution is a neutral or alkaline transparent viscous liquid, soluble in other water-soluble adhesives and resins, and insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol. CMC can be used as binder, thickener, suspending agent, emulsifier, dispersant, stabilizer, sizing agent, etc.

Sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), commonly known as "industrial monosodium glutamate", is the most widely used and convenient product among cellulose ethers.

1. The mud with CMC has good stability, and can reduce water loss even when the temperature is above 150 ℃.

4. Drilling mud, like other suspended dispersions, has a certain period of existence, which can be stabilized and extended by adding CMC.

5. After adding CMC into the mud, the drilling machine can get low initial shear force, which makes the mud easy to release the gas wrapped in it, and at the same time, the debris can be quickly discarded in the mud pit.

6. CMC can be used as the treatment agent of drilling mud washing fluid, which can resist the pollution of various soluble salts.

CMC with high viscosity and substitution degree is suitable for mud with low density, while CMC with low viscosity and high substitution degree is suitable for mud with high density. CMC should be selected according to mud type, area, well depth and other different conditions.

3、 CMC used in papermaking industry can be used as paper smoothing agent and sizing agent in papermaking industry. Dissolution method

Mix chuangyao brand CMC with water directly, prepare paste glue liquid, and reserve. When dissolving CMC, the reason why CMC should be evenly distributed and continuously stirred is "to prevent the problems of agglomeration, agglomeration and reducing CMC dissolution when CMC meets water", and to improve the dissolution speed of CMC.
