Classification of interfacial agents:

1) Dry powder interface agent

2) liquid interface agent (divided into one component and multi components): commonly used VAE (vinyl acetate ethylene copolymer emulsion) emulsion interface agent, acrylic emulsion interface agent.

3) Application experience:

① First of all, the key is to know what base surface to use, what construction method, and then choose what materials to use. It is not necessary to use everything if there is an interface agent formula. If you use a spatula to wipe (a common construction method of single component), you don't have to worry about the thickness of the interface agent. The water content in the formula is generally low (about 25%). When the interface agent is not dry after plastering, the bonding strength is the best. If you use a brush to brush the construction, you can't use coarse sand, add more glue powder, and increase the water consumption (about 40%), but the cost will increase Spray with spray gun.

② If not, the interface strength will be better than that of coarse sand.

3. The interface agent used on ceramic tile and iron and steel is better to use two component emulsion type interface agent (epoxy adhesive) and then two component cement binder. Directly using dry powder cement based interface agent is not safe, and a little force may cause the whole block to fall off completely, and the cost is too high.

④ At present, expanded polystyrene board (EPS) or extruded polystyrene board (XPS) are used in thin plastering exterior wall insulation system. EPS boards are usually glued to the wall directly with adhesive, and there are interfacial agents according to the actual situation. Usually, there is a dense layer of XPS on the surface of the board, so the adhesive is very poor. Therefore, it is necessary to use modified polymer emulsion interface agent (cement based interface agent is cheap), but after spraying on the board, there is a phenomenon of powdered powder, which is not conducive to bonding. The reason is probably that the coating is too thin, and the water loss is too fast. However, if the bonding mortar is very good, the interface agent can not be used if the extruded board with rough surface is used.

XPS plate emulsion interface agent with several kinds of emulsion and water mixed on the line, generally choose VAE emulsion, mixing with water, the water absorption of the general base of less use of point emulsion, water absorption of the base of the more emulsion, and then add a small amount of defoamer, cellulose ether and so on, if need to put a period of time add some mildew inhibitor. After the interface agent and cement mortar mixing is also called interface agent, according to the actual situation can be used in other aspects. One thing to note is that the concentration of emulsion should not be too high, otherwise the interface agent will play the opposite effect.

⑤ At present, the price of liquid interface agent on the market is very wide, ranging from 120000 to 120000, while the common dry powder interface agent has hundreds.
