First of all, let's understand the production of ceramic tiles. Ceramic tiles are made by grinding, mixing, pressing, glazing, sintering fire-resistant and high temperature resistant metal oxides and semi metal oxides, so as to form a kind of acid-base resistant ceramic or stone building decoration materials. Its raw materials include quartz, kaolin, potassium feldspar, etc.

Since 2013, there have been more than 1400 ceramic tile enterprises registered nationwide, with more than 3500 production lines and sales of 383.1 billion (according to the statistics of China report hall). Compared with previous years, sales, output value, profit and total output increased the fastest. In 2014 and 2015, the growth rate of ceramic tiles continued to decline. From the analysis of market situation, the change of ceramic tile industry seems to be a pause in the rapid growth of ceramic tile industry. According to the global data, the output of ceramic tiles is about 15 billion square meters, which is equivalent to paving the earth three times, while China's total production accounts for 60%.

In recent years, more than 200 ceramic tile enterprises have closed down. Does this mean that the ceramic tile industry has entered the cold cave period? In fact, it is not. This is the inevitable process of the development of a market. The scale is small, the capital is insufficient, and the products are not competitive. At the same time, enterprises with limited scale of energy conservation and emission reduction will inevitably go bankrupt.
